‘Dancing with the Stars 21’ results: Was Hayes Grier, Tamar Braxton, or Alexa PenaVega eliminated?
Monday night’s new episode of “Dancing with the Stars” was exciting for a wide variety of reasons, with one of the biggest ones being that it provided an opportunity to see the most intense results in quite some time. We had eight Stars with very little dividing them on the leaderboard; maybe Nick Carter and Bindi Irwin were the two most-likely to make it to the finale, but the rest of the field had a ton of uncertainty going into this episode.
At the very end of tonight’s episode, it was announced that the two pairs in jeopardy were Hayes Grier & Emma Slater, Tamar Braxton & Val Chmerkovskiy, and Alexa PenaVega & Mark Ballas. Surprised at all by this? We are a little, but even Tamar (despite some awesome routines) has had some rough weeks here and there. There was going to be a shocking elimination this time around really no matter what.
The person sent home was … Hayes. We feel for him, but we’re not altogether shocked. Most of his fans are so much younger than the target demographic for “Dancing with the Stars,” and while he was likable all season, we’re not sure how many older viewers remembered or wanted to vote for him. Still, he got to last a long time and expand his fan following a lot of people who had never heard of him before. He went out with a smile and dignity, so he’ll probably get a chance to get something more out of this experience in the future.
As for Alexa and Tamar, it’s too early to read into them being in “jeopardy.” It doesn’t necessarily mean “bottom three.”

I’m not sure. It was so hard to tell, but I think it’s doubtful since they have to know they can fight off-camera if they want to wait a few minutes.
