‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 6 video: Is Bishop’s husband Jake in danger?

“NCIS” season 13 has tackled a variety of different topics, but in addition to celebrating Halloween, Tuesday night’s new episode is going to tackle relationships in a variety of different ways.

We have talked rather extensively about the return of Margo Harshman as Delilah on Tuesday night’s “Viral,” as she and McGee have to figure out if they can figure out a way to live together. This, coupled with Halloween and some of the token creepy stuff that comes along with that, are going to be cornerstones of this story.

Now, we’re getting serious as we talk about Bishop and Jake. Is her husband in danger? The promo below suggests that he could have been in the same hotel that was the setting for an attack, and his life may be in danger. Gibbs urges her to go home, but she says that she has no intention of doing so until she has further answers. We knew that there was tension coming in her marriage, but we certainly did not expect it to happen like this.

Ideally, our preference would be for Jake to be okay, and for Bishop’s marriage to last the remainder of the series. So few times a show actually tells you that it is okay to be married to someone not in the core cast, so it would be a little bit of a refreshing change. Plus, we like Jamie Bamber, and it would be nice to see him every now and then. Like Delilah, he is someone who can pop up whenever the writers need him, provided of course that he is available.
