‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: First details on ‘Here’s Not Here,’ ‘Now’

twdAs anyone who follows “The Walking Dead” at this point almost surely knows, this is not a series with a lengthy history of giving many details away in advance. Yet, we should probably still be happy that they are giving us anything at all, given how secretive they tend to be about upcoming stories and what could be awaiting Rick Grimes and the rest of the crew at Alexandria.

Below, we have a little treat to help to start getting you into the weekend. The titles for the next two episodes following the one airing on Sunday, and then also a short synopsis to go along with it. These two come courtesy of SpoilerTV; analysis / speculation is coming afterwards.

Episode 6×04, “Here’s Not Here” – “A new face appears; trust issues form.”

Episode 6×05, “Now” – “Following a number of setbacks, the mood in Alexandria grows grim for the sheltered citizens.”

We feel like the only significant reaction that is going to come out of reading those is something akin to “it’s about time,” mostly when talking about how it’s almost time when some of these characters started to really ship up and realize how much danger that they are in. Still, this is not exactly the sort of synopsis that really leaves your jaw on the floor. The most notable thing mentioned is the “new face” in “Here’s Not Here.” We want to at least believe that it is a reasonably important character to be mentioned in such a way, but if there is something we have really learned about this show over the years, it is that nobody really does misdirect better than them.
