‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 6 preview: Margo Harshman returns, Rocky Carroll directs ‘Viral’
For all of you who enjoy Delilah being a part of “NCIS,” the great news is that you don’t have to wait any longer to see her in action! “Viral” is the next new episode of the show, and while Margo Harshman’s character is probably not going to be in the main story, you will get a chance to see her and McGee make a big life decision.
If you have not seen it already, the synopsis below makes it more than clear as to what you can expect to see:
“When a petty officer’s murder matches the M.O. of a local serial killer, the NCIS team must determine if this is the killer’s latest victim or the work of a copycat. Also, McGee and Delilah must learn to compromise before moving in together.”
By the time we make it to the end of the hour, maybe we’ll get a chance to see if Delilah and McGee are continuing to be a strong couple. and we’d certainly be happy if there are another detail or two regarding some other characters’ romantic lives to go along with it. One final thing to celebrate here is that this episode marks the latest directorial effort from none other than Rocky Carroll, who previously took on a similar role during season 12. He’s getting a chance to showcase more of his creative vision, and we’re all for getting a chance to see cast members wear a wide variety of different hats.

I like to see Gibbs acting more like Gibbs. See him smile more. Like to see him go back to his marine haircut & polo shirt. See him get on DiNozzo but then smile. Maybe see Gibbs have a relationship with Borin.

I’d like to see Tony not written like a cowering idiot in front of a disgusted Gibbs. I’d like to see Tony written as the big hero or get a dramatic arc but we know that can’t happen since Gibbs is always the hero and gets all the dramatic arcs. I’d also like to see less of McGee and more of Tony but I doubt that this is in the cards either since McGee seems to be the character they want to promote as interesting now. I have little hope that I’ll see any of this but it would certainly be a pleasant surprise.
