‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 3 preview: Stockard Channing returns as Alicia’s mom!
Are you ready to see a family reunion of sorts play out on “The Good Wife“? If you find yourselves answering this question with a “yes,” then we’ve got some advice for you: It’s probably a great idea to check out the next new episode of the show, given that it’s going to be eventful.
Stockard Channing is poised to make a big return in the new episode airing next week as Alicia’s mother Veronica, who will be helping her daughter take part in an event to help promote Peter’s campaign. Here’s the problem: It’s a cooking competition, and do you really imagine in your head Alicia and Veronica doing something like this? It reminds us almost of the pie competition on “Parks and Recreation,” which ended up being a crazy and most unfortunate situation for Leslie Knope.
There is more of a procedural element to this episode courtesy of a new case for Alicia and Lucca Quain, and you can read a little bit more about that by checking out the latest synopsis below:
“Alicia and Lucca work together on a complicated court case involving a designer drug dealer. Also, Eli encourages Alicia and Veronica (Stockard Channing) to participate in a mother/daughter cooking show to help Peter’s campaign, with disastrous results.”
Are you enjoying the new version of “The Good Wife”? This is a show with a habit of altering itself up from one year to the next, but with few exceptions, we actually do think it works.
