ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 4 video: Rick confronts a reformed liar

On Monday night’s new episode of “Castle,” we are going to get a chance to see a case that revolves around a literary hero of Castle being found dead. Is he going to be able to uncover who is the responsible party, and actually feel like he has done this person proud?

The sneak peek below is a whole lot of fun, mostly because it represents perfectly the sort of hijinks that Castle can get into while working out in the field with Ryan and Esposito. While interview someone possibly connected to the case, they learn that this same person is a reformed pathological liar … which of course is something that Nathan Fillion’s character really feels the need to put to the test. He asks the guy what he thinks about his work, and he does happen to give him probably the most-blunt response possible. This has to be more than what Rick was bargaining for, but at the same time, can’t he at least now attest to knowing for sure that this is someone who is honest and then some?

Just in case this was not enough for you, this liar-no-more also challenges Ryan on whether or not he uses lifts to boost his height, and also whether or not Espo is dying parts of his hair in order to look a little younger. This is a little bit of a redux of what we had with these two guys going undercover at Hudson University during “PhDead” this past episode, which was tremendously hilarious in its own right.
