‘The X Factor’ UK preview: Che Chesterman looks to impress before Six-Chair Challenge

If you think back to the auditions of “The X Factor” UK, Che Chesterman was one of the most notable people to try out. He didn’t necessarily look like the sort of guy who was going to be able to go up on stage and hit a lot of seriously-crazy notes. Yet, he did!

Che didn’t get a lot of air time during the Group portion of bootcamp, but the sneak peek below makes it clear that you won’t forget about him. While we don’t love “A Song for You” that much (it doesn’t have the sort of melody that we particularly love listening to), this guy has a killer voice. He hits notes we haven’t hit any male singer hit this season so far, and he should be at least close to a lock for the Six-Chair Challenge to go along with that.

We don’t think that Che should change too much about who he is since that makes his different, but one thing he may need to work on is getting a little bit more energetic on stage. It’s almost like he completely becomes another person when he starts to sing, and some of that may come with confidence. Admittedly, it’s also much easier for many to stand on stage and perform than doing something unnatural like standing there, having awkward banter with the judges.
