‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 stars quiet on the future at Emmys

LogoFor the most part, the cast of “Game of Thrones” has definitely been busy over the past couple months working on production for season 6 … but that does not mean that they are altogether open to talking about it.

Many of the HBO show’s cast members were in the middle of the burning Los Angeles sun on Sunday night for the Primetime Emmy Awards, which is one that many have predicted will lead to a few major wins for the show. However, we have seen a chorus of “no comments” coming from many of the show’s stars.

One of the best comments that we’ve had, both in terms of relevance and being profound, comes from Varys himself in Conleth Hill. Speaking per USA Today on the subject of Jon Snow’s future, he stated the issue in a way that may executives and actors have not:

“The question isn’t did he die. The question is whether he can come back to life. We can’t answer that.”

In most other statements on the subject of Kit Harington’s character, what we have seen and heard is people simply saying that the character is dead and nothing more. They have not been particularly interested in elaborating, and one of the reasons for that could be that they have something to hide.

We’ve tried hard to not get into the game of looking at set pictures or speculation online, so we cannot say or not if Jon Snow will come back. All we figure is that it would be an enormous shock if he was to not resurface in some form based on the character’s popularity and role in the saga so far.
