NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 9 video: More Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani moments
As we shared recently, NBC has started their promotional campaign for the ninth season of “The Voice.” What does that mean? It’s basically as simple as NBC releasing a ton of previews reminding you of how they are trying to sell this season, and that is with a series of promos highlighting their coaches.
The video below is probably one of the most comprehensive ones that they are going to release if for no other reason than that it contains almost every hokey coach moment you would expect to see, whether it be dance moves, Blake Shelton doing that finger-pointing-thing that he does when artists choose their coach, or Adam Levine making jabs at the idea that country singers are afraid not to pick Blake, thinking that they will be forever shut out of Nashville. (Adam gets a few good zingers in a season.)
Also worth noting is that Gwen Stefani is giving away t-shirts again this season! We actually think these are pretty cool; maybe it’s not enough to get you to change your mind if you’re thinking about going with someone else, but it’s still fun.
Ultimately, we’d say still that “professional” is the best way to describe this season, mostly for the fact that at least a couple of the coaches were going through rough times in their personal lives at the time the blind auditions were being filmed. Yet, they all seem to still be having a good time goofing off with each other, and you wouldn’t think anything was different.
