‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ finale spoilers: The wheels keep turning for Ashley Iaconetti, Jared Haibon

We are several days away still from the start of the “Bachelor in Paradise” season finale on ABC, and the show is still getting some crazy mileage out of Ashley Iaconetti’s relationship with Jared Haibon. They really want you to think that there could be something here, even if the odds of there actually being something are astronomically low. The same goes for her losing her virginity to him in the fantasy suite.

Even still, the sneak peek below (via HollywoodLife) continues to really try to make you believe that something could happen. To a certain extent, we understand why they want to push this. Ashley is great at cultivating drama for the show, and making viewers believe that she is about to do something crazy.

Here is the reason why she won’t: She already at least realizes that Jared has some hesitations about her, and her virginity is also one of her claims to fame. Why choose to give that up here on this show, given that it is already unlikely this relationship is going anywhere? She has better chances getting onto another season if that is still something that can be played into the story, and maybe then it will be up for discussion.

Still, let’s be honest: Do we really want to hear about this anymore? It feels like this is a story that has been played out at this point, and we’d like to see next season move on to other things rather than bringing back any of the people from season 2.
