‘The Originals’ season 3 spoilers: How much more Rebekah could we see?

Rebekah is clearly one of the more fascinating characters on “The Originals” at the moment, and there are many different reasons for that … but the majority of them stem from how you never quite know if or when she is going to be turning up in the present, or who is even going to be playing her. Claire Holt and Maisie Richardson-Sellers have both played the character as of late, and each have brought their own spin on it.

For now, we can at least tell you that Holt will be returning for some more scenes as the character … at least via flashbacks. This is what executive producer Michael Narducci said on the subject recently in a new interview with E! News:

“Claire is phenomenal and we love to have her on the show … We’ve got a whole flashback storyline that she will participate in, and then we have some ideas on how we might see Rebekah again in present day in both bodies. Not at the same time!”

Obviously, we’re on board with getting more of her on this show, mostly because “The Originals” can certainly use as many great female characters as possible. Adding Freya last season helped to make up for Holt’s stunning season 1 exit, but it certainly does not come close to filling that void. The two characters, after all, do bring very different energies to the table.
