‘Bachelor in Paradise 2’ spoilers: What Chelsie Webster’s arrival means to Ashley Salter, Nick Peterson

At this point in the run of “Bachelor in Paradise,” we’re starting to really think that the show has a serious “too many cooks” thing going on, and not the kind that is a really cool theme song that goes on and on pretty much forever. There are just so many people who are a part of the cast now that it is really hard to keep track of, especially with people like Chelsie Webster arriving who were really not that memorable on their first season. (For the record, Chelsie appeared as a Juan Pablo Galavis suitor.)

The synopsis below offers up some details from Monday night’s new episode, which shows that unfortunately for Ashley Salter, she is going to continue to have a hard time finding the right guy for her this season:

“It’s the morning after and everyone is still reeling from last night’s dramatic events. Chelsie, who arrived with a date card, decides to ask out Nick, who is instantly motivated to end his relationship with Ashley S. The new duo head off to enjoy an ocean cruise on a luxurious yacht and snorkel in the turquoise waters of Paradise. Despite the romantic setting, this handsome couple lacks chemistry, leaving Chelsie in the ‘friend zone.'”

Ultimately, Ashley is one of those people who will probably have more luck finding love away from the show, where she can be considered a little more of a “real person” and a little less of a big TV character who says crazy things and gets the wacky music behind her.
