‘America’s Got Talent’ results preview: Will Gary Vider, Oz Pearlman, Benjamin Yonattan advance?
Let’s start here with who we are reasonably confident in: Freelusion closed the night, Daniella Mass is a great singer, and Selected of God has the religious fan base. Those are the three that we’re very much confident in. Then, add to that acts like Benjamin Yonattan and Oz Pearlman, who we are pretty confident are going to see the light of day one way or another unless something crazy happens.
This is where things could get interesting Wednesday. You’ve got Gary Vider, Metal Mulisha Fitz Army, Alicia Michilli, Mountain Faith Band, and the Professional Regurgitator all competing for just two spots at the end of the night. Our guy tells us that Gary and the Regurgitator will probably get through, mostly based on America’s love for comedy, where they performed in the show, and uniqueness. We also feel like if the judges get to choose, this may be a way for them to help the Regurgitator out; we are a little worried that Howie Mandel’s comment, even with an apology after the fact, may not be the best association for him.
The acts on the outside looking in right now are clearly Daditude and Chapkis Dance Family. We feel like Alicia has a rough road, but we’re giving her at least a slight chance just because singers do tend to get votes.
We’ll be back live for our take on the results. For now, head over here to get our review of the performances, and sign up today to have even more TV news sent right to you via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: NBC.)
