‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: What Booth, Brennan are up to work-wise
For some reason, we had this picture in our head of Booth and Brennan on “Bones” season 11 spending time together on some quaint little farm in Kansas now that they’ve left the Jeffersonian. However, that’s not exactly going to be what you see on the show when it premieres October 1.
As new showrunner Michael Peterson said in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, we are actually going to see Booth still very much tied to the FBI in some capacity … or at least this will be the case before he ends up missing during the season premiere:
“Booth is teaching at Quantico, so he’s left the old life behind … Besides just giving birth to a child, Brennan never has trouble filling up her time. She’s written books, she’s done multiple projects. She’s more in between than Booth. She’s diversified herself into many projects, so she hasn’t quite landed on the one.”
The story for Brennan is interesting mostly in that it’s fun to think of Emily Deschanel’s character doing a variety of different things, but not having that same day-to-day landing spot as she did at the Jeffersonian. Granted, we imagine that we’re not going to be seeing too much of this “new” life. This show is all about solving cases at a familiar location, and we cannot imagine them changing the game too much from that longer than just an episode or two.
We will have some further updates in the near future when it comes to “Bones,” so be on the hunt for some of them!
