‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3, episode 12 preview: ‘Sins of the Fathers’ carries into finale

Next week’s “Beauty and the Beast” episode is entitled “Sins of the Fathers,” and you better believe that after learning what we did about Liam tonight, the story is only going to escalate from here on out. This guy is not everything that we’ve come to believe that he is; he is smart, dangerous, and above all else, extremely old.

So how do you stop a guy who has been around for so long, is supernatural, is a beast, and also has ties to the Ellingsworth past? this is something that Cat and Vincent will have to figure out, and it will mean making some big moves and facing potential consequences as a result. “Liam’s (guest star Jason Gedrick) shocking history makes Cat (Kristin Kreuk) delve deeper into the Ellingsworth family, where she learns of their tragic past. Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat realize that they will need to use their secret weapon if they want to take Liam down. Meanwhile, JT (Austin Basis) has a theory about how to save himself but it involves none other than Liam.”

By the time we make it to the end of the third season, hopefully we’re going to figure out whether or not Liam is going to continue to haunt these characters in some way, and also if this means that a time of peace will actually arrive for Cat and Vincent. If there is, can you really imagine it lasting that long? Part of the fun of this show is that they are never really out of the woods when it comes to stopping bad guys.
