‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 10 (summer finale) spoilers: Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Posey’s next steps

Next week, “Teen Wolf” is going to air what will ultimately be its summer finale in “Status Asthmaticus,” and if there is one thing we can say about it right now, it is this: This show has a heck of a lot it needs to resolve in a very small amount of time.

First and foremost, what’s going to happen to Hayden? Tonight, Scott made the bold move to not save her when he had the opportunity to do so, keeping her from becoming a full-fledged werewolf. It’s pretty easy to sense that this will be a controversial decision by some fans, but he has to start thinking more about what he feels is right for a person’s long-term humanity. He knows the sort of suffering that can come from being a wolf.

For those curious, “Status Asthmaticus” is basically a really fancy way of saying an asthma attack. Given that this is the last episode of the show in 2015, we expect a few major developments to go down. The second part of the season will air in 2016.

Now, let’s turn to the promo below. It’s violent, intense, and really in a word insane. It’s almost everything that anyone could possibly want in a promo that is setting up what is coming around the bend. Theo’s going to be involved, Scott is in serious danger, and Liam may go to some dangerous lengths in order to ensure that something truly insane happens.
