‘Dancing with the Stars 21’ rumors: What to make of the Scott Disick chatter

Is it really possible that Scott Disick could be a part of the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars“? We know that this is the hot rumor at the moment, and we suppose that in theory, it could happen … but in theory almost anyone could appear on the show.

While we cannot completely dispel the rumor right now, we do at least have a few things that you really should consider when thinking about the idea of seeing Kourtney Kardashian’s ex (at least at present) on the ABC competition this fall.

1. The source – The first report of this came via anonymous sources via HollywoodLife; anytime that a source is anonymous, it means that they could be pulled from almost anywhere.

2. The Kardashian connection (we refuse to play along with their “start other words with a K to sound cool” game) – We know that producers would probably give a pound of flesh to get Caitlyn Jenner on the show this season, and they probably want to make that whole family happy. We’re not sure what terms Kourtney and Scott are on right now, and if they were to view casting Scott as a slight, it could impede future chances of booking Caitlyn or someone like Kendall or Kylie Jenner on the show.

3. Claim to fame – What is it really? He’s obviously famous, but we know next to nothing about the guy as a Kardashian avoider.

For the record, we do think that it is more likely that the show has either Kourtney or Kylie on this upcoming season than Scott. They have larger followings, and they’ll also bring in those polarizing reactions that any reality TV producer seems to love.
