‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Check out Oliver, Felicity, and Diggle’s new lair!
Who doesn’t love a good superhero lair? There’s the Batcave, the Arrow-cave (we know a certain someone hates that name), and now, we’re getting the Arrow Bunker! It makes sense that Oliver and company would be getting a new place to call home on “Arrow” season 4, given the sole fact that they can’t go back below the club anymore.
Below, you can see a first look at the new hideout via Entertainment Weekly, and it’s one that certainly looks rather cool. It’s more expansive than the old lair, it’s pretty impressive to look at, and it is also going to allow for the team to do more than they have to date. Just take a look at what executive producer Marc Guggenheim has to say on the subject to the publication:
“In designing the new lair, we had to think in terms of the much larger group that Oliver [Stephen Amell] has now surrounded himself with and how Team Arrow is a much bigger enterprise … One of the fun things about this lair is that as opposed to one big space, where everyone would congregate, it’s now a much larger space divided up into smaller spaces. There is an area for Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] to work, there is an area for Oliver to work out, and there is a garage. There are many different places we’ll continue to discover over the course of the season that give you a sense that this thing is a bit bigger than we got used to in the first three years.”
This almost feels like a spaceship in a way, where you’ve got an engine room, a medical station, a research wing, and a variety of other rooms with a purpose. It’s a cool idea to get a new lair, and for the characters, maybe this will help them to not feel as claustrophobic.
