‘MasterChef’ season 6, episode 15 preview: Screaming and team challenges

Do you love it when “MasterChef” does the annual tag-team challenge? While the specifics of it next week are not entirely clear after watching merely a promo, we imagine that for the most part, the basic mechanisms are going to be the same: Home cooks are going to collaborate on some sort of dish, and switch in and out throughout so that they each make some contributions to it. Given that the cooks have different tastes and also different styles, conflict will arise.

Of course, we absolutely love the idea of Stephen having to work with anyone in this environment, mostly because he may be the most intense man who has ever lived. He looks on the verge of a vein popping out of his head the entire time, especially with his interactions that he has with Derrick.

The good news is that Derrick and Stephen are probably still going to be around for a while still, given that they are two of the best cooks this season. At the moment, we feel like these two, coupled with maybe Hetal, Claudia, and Katrina, are the fab five of this season. Tommy and Nick, meanwhile, are at present the underdogs. They’ve had an edit that is not typically conducive of a winner of this season, but we’ll see what happens. There are only a handful of installments left!
