‘Chicago PD’ season 3 spoilers: How could Sophia Bush’s Lindsay get pulled back in?

There’s no question that the end of “Chicago PD” season 3 was a tough one for the Erin Lindsay character. After feeling a combination of guilt and depression over the latest circumstances in her life, she decided to turn over her badge and turn to one of her old vices in drinking.

Is there a way for this to turn around in the upcoming third season? You really have to hope so, primarily for the simple reason that this is a show that really needs the entire unit together for the stories to be as exciting as they should be. Finding a way to get Sophia Bush’s character back into the fold is just one of the storytelling challenges, but it seems as though the series already has figure out a way in which to bring her back.

According to a new report coming in now from TV Guide, a kidnapping involving one of the show’s important characters will serve as a way to get Lindsay back into the fold. It may not be immediate, but this could have her focusing on the right things once again.

The real truth here for Lindsay is that she always has to be self-conscious of the fact that it will not take too much to slip back into her old ways. This is something that all people with a troubled past have to keep track of and manage, and surrounding yourself with the right people is just one of the ways to avoid this situation.
