‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Shelli makes her move

We’re absolutely loving this week in the “Big Brother 17” house. It is always so much more fun when you have multiple people fighting hard in order to ensure that they can stay put, and this is precisely what we are getting here.

We’ve already seen Vanessa make at least some various pitches talking about her loyalty and whatnot (put her comments on a loop), Shelli made what we think is a pretty compelling pitch herself to Meg and Jackie: Use her, Johnny Mac, and Steve rather than target them. They can be used to go after Austin and the twins, and Shelli even offered herself up as a pawn to go after them. If you were to look at this in the way of pure numbers, there may be something to this. If Shelli stays and follows through with this (we think that she at least would for a week or two), you could unite easily against three people. However, if Vanessa stays we feel she is more likely to go back to Austin and the twins for at least a little while longer, and would also sway Steve potentially away from John given her own past allegiance.

Ultimately, Shelli is not as good of a strategist as Vanessa, and she is also somewhat easier to pin down. Therefore, we feel like at this point if we were Meg, Jackie, and James, we would rally to keep her and get rid of someone like Vanessa. You do still want to get rid of Shelli before final five, since she would be a threat to win at that point.

John also made another good reminder this afternoon to the Meg / Jackie pair: If you fight with Vanessa, you go away. His argument is that she is more of the head of the snake, and he’s right … though to be fair, it also benefits him heavily to keep Shelli since Vanessa 100% wants him gone.
