‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 10 (summer finale) spoilers: Callie’s secret; tension between Stef and Lena

There has been quite a bit of drama on “The Fosters” throughout the third season, and this is only going to accelerate going into “Lucky,” an episode that may not be so lucky for every single member of the cast.

According to the synopsis via ABC Family, this episode is going to feature in some ways a celebration for Lena’s parents. However, at the same exact time there are going to be problems aplenty, including more trouble for Stef and Lena as their relationship is in one of its biggest ruts to date. Also, Callie has to figure out whether or not she wants to set herself free with the truth, no matter the consequences:

“Amid tensions in their own relationship, Stef and Lena host a 40th anniversary party for Lena’s parents. Callie faces the judge who will determine the consequences of her actions, all while holding a secret that could change everything. Meanwhile, Mariana decides that she must find a way to repair her relationship with Mat.”

There will be more of “The Fosters” at some point next year, and given this show’s history of giving us enormous cliffhangers for their summer and season finales, we have to imagine that something similar is going to happen here. There are a number of things that could also leave on a mysterious note, including Callie’s status (not to mention her status with Brandon), Stef and Lena’s relationship, and of course whether or not an unforeseen problem comes up that changes almost everything.
