‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 13 preview: ‘Girl Meets Semi-Formal’ features big Eric Matthews story

On tonight’s all-new episode of “Girl Meets World,” one of the primary stories is going to be all about how Riley, Farkle, and some other characters fight some of the labels that are thrown at them courtesy of their class yearbook. In some ways, these titles can be thought of as a compliment, but at the same time they may also be thought of as a burden.

Next week, the show will be changing course in a new episode that is carrying with it the title of “Girl Meets Semi-Formal.” There’s a school dance taking place over the half-hour, and for Riley fans this will probably be the part of this that interests you the most. However, the synopsis below also makes it very clear that there is another part of the story also worth taking note of:

“Riley is asked to the semi-formal dance by a classmate named Charlie and is torn whether to go with him or Lucas. Meanwhile, Cory’s brother Eric is paid a visit from an old friend.”

For those wondering, the Eric story is definitely one that you’re going to want to check out if you were a longtime fan of the original “Boy Meets World” series. We’re not going to spoil the contents of it right now (that would be particularly cruel), but there is quite a bit to like in here. The show has done a very good job throughout the second season of paying homage to the original, and finding ways to please longtime fans wondering what happened to some of their favorites.
