‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: Casper Crump cast as Vandal Savage

While you may not be that familiar with the name Casper Crump right now, you hopefully will be by the time that season 1 of DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” airs. Why is that? He is going to be playing one of the most feared villains that we have seen attached to the series to date.

Sources confirm that the Danish actor has been cast as Vandal Savage, a feared man thousands of years old who has caused a wide array of problems throughout history. It is going to be up to the band of heroes / villains (or “Legends,” as Rip Hunter calls them in the trailer) to figure out a way to stop him. We don’t have the rights to any image of Crump, but we suggest searching for him online and you will see: While he is not particularly well-known to American viewers, the man looks almost exactly like what we would want to see from a TV version of the character.

“Legends of Tomorrow” will premiere at some point early next year, but you can expect to see the majority of its cast members become a part of the narrative on “Arrow” and “The Flash” this fall. We’re likely going to have a chance to see more of Ray Palmer’s transformation into the Atom as we know him, Sara Lance’s resurrection, and also what in the world is going on with Firestorm. Kendra Saunders a.k.a. Hawkgirl is also going to make her debut on “The Flash” during the second season.
