‘big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Shelli’s quest, Spin the Bottle, and other randomness

Shelli -We’d argue that at least the past 12 hours or so has been interesting as far as “Big Brother” live feeds go, or at least given the utter lack of strategy talk going on. James has yet to show any willingness to change his nominations, so if the plan holds, Shelli and Clay will remain on the block come Monday.

Does James prefer Shelli leave over Clay? Sure, but we’re not getting the impression so far that he really cares so much about ensuring this happens that he wants to put someone else on the block like a Liz. If Clay goes, it’s still someone who would be working against him. In some ways, it could be better for James in the long run. Remember that endurance competition where you fill up all of the jugs with some random liquid? Clay would instantly be the biggest threat to win Head of Household that week. While Shelli has won some competitions, we feel like she’s not a slam dunk in many of them.

Anyway, some assorted silliness from last night:

1. Shelli continues to blow through her Veto punishment of completing the sword routine 2400 times in 24 hours. We don’t get the feeling that this is as brutal as what Brittany went through last summer, but you still have to give her credit for doing it. Meanwhile, Vanessa continues to serve as Jackie’s squire, and that included having to sleep on the floor last night.

2. The live feeders voted (or at least the few who actually care) to make the remaining players do a game of spin the bottle. Let’s be real here: We could care less about whether or not these people actually did this, but we still had some complaining about doing it. Of course Liz and Austin kissed, plus Shelli / Clay and then some other random combinations. Jackie and Steve ended up kissing a ton of people! Vanessa thankfully was not forced to participate.

3. James reminded Johnny Mac that he has never nominated him, hoping that this is a sign of loyalty moving forward.
