‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Nominations and glorious aftermath

The nomination ceremony took place on “Big Brother 17” this afternoon, and let us just say that the aftermath to it is all sorts of wonderful.

As expected, James made the biggest move of the entire summer so far in nominating both Clay and Shelli, and in doing so is ensuring that two people he blames for sending home Jason are going to be in danger of leaving. Apparently Clay blew up on James either before or right after nominations, and that should make for a really great moment on Sunday’s show. James is justifying his decision by saying that the two withheld information from him, and that is why he no longer considers the deal that was made during the endurance Head of Household Competition valid.

This nomination has led to tears, anger, and Vanessa also complaining far more than she really should given that she is not on the block. Austin has been called out as duplicitous yet again, The plan now for Clay and Shelli is to try to get Austin backdoored instead, and that is going to be difficult. Our understanding is that Liz or Julia will be a replacement nominee, and we don’t see James deviating from that if he wants to ensure that the season’s biggest showmance so far is split up.

Almost everyone in the Sixth Sense at this point seems ready to cut bait on “Clelli,” and to us it feels like the real moment that started all this revolved around the two of them trying to play innocent in Jason’s nomination. Had they owned up to it, there would be a chance that maybe Vanessa or someone else could have been targeted.
