‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: Blair Underwood set to return as Andrew

Isn’t this turning out be a busy week for Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD“? We have heard a few casting notes as of late, and today we are learning a few more things when it comes to existing cast members.

According to a report from Variety, Blair Underwood is going to be appearing in multiple episodes as Andrew, the ex-husband of Melinda May who seemed to reconcile with her at the end of season 2. These two characters were preparing to spending some time together away from the chaos of this world, but who knows just how long they will be able to enjoy themselves? This is not the sort of world where you can actually stop and take a breath.

At the moment, we definitely are interested to see how many of the cliffhangers of season 2 are tied up, especially when you think about Simmons being swallowed up and Skye / Daisy Johnson set to further undergo a transformation that will lead to the Secret Warriors storyline taking off. Also, you cannot forget about what is going on with Ward now that he is getting a bigger slice of the Hydra pie. How Agent May fits into all of this remains unclear, but with her history it is probably fair to say that she is going to be kicking some butt and taking names.
