‘Longmire’ season 4 scores official September 10 premiere date

Longmire -Finally, Netflix has made the news official in regards to the future of “Longmire“: Come September 10, the entire ten-episode fourth season will be available to stream. Get your favorite snack ready to binge watch!

Let’s start here by praising the network when it comes to their timing here. There is no better spot for them to start airing the new season. They are coming in at a time after we made it through most of the summer TV season, but also before the major networks start to air some of their heavy hitter shows. Given that filming has been over for a few weeks now, there is enough time for producers to push their publicity train and let long time fans, as well as potential new fans that the show is back and it’s going to be a great season.

Netflix announced today that season 4 is going to be picking up mere moments after the season 3 finale, meaning that we will get to see whether or not Barlow really shot his son Branch after he started to figure out what really happened with the death of Walt Longmire’s wife. Whether or not Bailey Chase is a significant part of this season remains unclear, but Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman and Adam Bartley are all going to be back.

As for whether or not there will be a fifth season, we know some of the cast is up for it. We just imagine that a big part of it is going to depend heavily on what the buzz is for the show after this season, and also what results Netflix sees on their end. That being said there was such an extensive campaign from fans all over the world to bring “Longmire” back for another season and here we are with another season because of all of that hard work and dedication. We can’t wait to see what the cast and crew have in store for us.

For now, just celebrate the fact that it is coming back for more this fall!
