‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Clay, Shelli, Vanessa all take turns under the bus

We imagined that things would be wacky following the Veto Ceremony on “Big Brother 17” Monday, but it has unfolded in a little bit of a different way than we imagined that it would.

First and foremost, let’s identify the people who are really taking the heat for Jason being named the replacement nominee alongside Becky: Shelli, Clay, and of course Vanessa herself. Hilariously, Austin suddenly seems to be not nearly as big a deal as he was beforehand. He’s been very quiet along with Liz, while Vanessa has tried to spin things to make it look like she didn’t do anything too bad since he kept her word to Jackie and promised Becky that she would not be the target.

Yet, Jason is still a part of that Dark Moon alliance that was formed, and James was almost more upset about this than even Jason was. She almost tried to justify to James (hilariously) that because he helped Liz in the Battle of the Block by correcting her spelling, he caused her to change her mind and target someone who was not going to be the target at first.

As for who is looking at Shelli and Clay, almost everyone is! Jackie came away from her meeting with Vanessa feeling very nervous about almost everyone in this group, and Meg really grilled Clay later, and tried to save face by saying that the likes of Austin and Liz are “expendable” … which Meg could use to go to Austin and Liz at some point. Basically both she and Jason have spent a lot of time this afternoon feeling duped, and we think that in their heads they are trying to think of their next move.
