See ‘American Idol’ winner Nick Fradiani’s new ‘Beautiful Life’ music video

If you have been wondering when Nick Fradiani’s debut music video for “Beautiful Life” was going to premiere, wait no longer! The reigning “American Idol” champion’s first music video on the Big Machine label released earlier this year, and it is every bit as lively and fun as you would hope for. It’s a fun song, and we’re happy to see a video here that keeps that spirit of celebration very much alive.

Sometimes we don’t really want to spend a whole lot of time analyzing the central themes of a video, and this is one of these such occasions. For the most part, this is precisely what you would expect and sometimes that is a good thing.

If there is one criticism that we would offer at the moment, it is the way in which Big Machine decided to go about releasing this … or at least waiting to release this. Since this song was promoted heavily during the FIFA Women’s World Cup on Fox, wouldn’t it have made more sense to get it ready for release around that time?

Regardless, we are at least happy that Nick is getting some promotion. This is at least a better effort than either Candice Glover or Caleb Johnson received the past two years, when winning this show did not mean anything close to success. “Beautiful Life” has also shown up on some of the airplay charts, and is easily the most successful winners’ single for the show since Phillip Phillips and “Home” a while back.
