‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Callie learns something new about Carmen

The obvious bit of news to point out today when it comes to “The Fosters” is a simple reminder more than anything else: There is no new episode on Monday night. We are not entirely sure what the strategy is here behind this, but you are going to have to wait until August 3 to see where the story goes now that Callie has left Stef and Lena’s care after there was a significant snag in the adoption proceedings.

So where is she staying now? Based on the sneak peek below and also the evidence that Rosie O’Donnell is returning for more as Rita, Girls United is a pretty fair guess. This peek does not offer much when it comes to news about Callie’s situation, but you do here from Carmen that she is getting ready to join the Army. This is a chance for her to take a big leap forward in her life, and Callie is happy for that.

We know from various teases for this episode that Carmen and Rita’s relationship is going to at some point be put under a microscope in this episode, and hopefully we are also going to get more updates when it comes to both Callie’s situation with Stef and Lena and then also with AJ. That romance picked up steam at various points last week, but Callie has also been so overwhelmed that it feels easy for it to drift back to the backburner.

Since we’re going to have a whole lot of time to preview this episode, it is fair to say that there will be further news soon. Stay tuned!
