‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ spoilers: Will past characters check in?

AHS Hotel -Through the first three seasons of “American Horror Story,” most of the assumptions that we were given suggested that these were all meant to be separate entities, and there were not many connections between seasons other than maybe some thematic ones here and there.

Well, the tide turned when we had Pepper turn up on “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” and despite our initial skepticism on the subject, we were won over thanks to “Orphans,” an episode so heartbreaking that to us it earns the title of one of the best of the entire series, regardless of what season or time period you are looking at. This of course opens the floodgate for some other characters to appear from other seasons in the future, and this to us could be really interesting to watch unfold.

Given the time periods we are talking about here, to us it would make the most sense to see someone from either “Coven” or “Murder House” turn up … at least out of the few characters who are still alive. To us, this could be a great opportunity to maybe see a Taissa Farmiga again, given that she is not a part of the current season. It would be a little too jarring to see a cast member just pop up as another character from a past season … at least to us. This show has still been known to do a crazy thing or to here or there.

One thing that you can be sure of is that this will be happening at some point. Ryan Murphy said at Comic-Con recently that there will be past characters who check in to the hotel eventually.
