‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7 spoilers: Even more new characters revealed!

Is “The Vampire Diaries” going to just have an entirely new cast for the upcoming seventh season of the show? At times, there may be some moments where it starts to feel like it for one reason or another.

We’ve already reported on a wide array of new additions to the CW series moving forward, with a group of heretics ultimately topping the list. Today, though, we come ready and willing to discuss some of the other new faces that you are going to see beyond them. According to E! News, one of them will be an Asian male in his 30s by the name of Oscar. When you first meet him, he’ll be somewhat of a backwoods guy living away from civilization … and let’s just say that he has a love for a specific sort of herb. However, much of his world changes when a spell transforms him into something else.

Meanwhile, we have another character named Julian, who is significantly more powerful (not to mention immortal). The show is looking for someone either English or with an Old World accent in their thirties for the role; Julian has been around a long time, and tends to destroy places as he travels from one to another. He seems to enjoy being in some ways, at least metaphorically, the talk of the town.

The new season of “The Vampire Diaries” premieres on The CW come Thursday, October 8. Hopefully, we’re going to have some more news on the show to share moving forward.
