‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, ‘Arrow’ season 4, ‘Supernatural’ win Twitter’s Comic-Con honors
It is no secret that Comic-Con is one of those times of the year where every fan of genre entertainment has a chance to have their voice heard in one way or another. This is what social media is for! Sometimes people are cheering a trailer or an excellent bit of casting news; other times, they are complaining about long autograph lines, or the fact that DC Entertainment jammed together so many panels in a short period of time that we don’t really think that “The Flash” or “Gotham” got their due in the way in which they deserved.
So what shows managed to get the most attention over the course of the entire convention? This is something that the folks at Twitter put some effort into figuring out completely in a post on their blog.
When it comes to shows, “Once Upon a Time” dominated, and had the most attention put upon it. We imagine that part of the reason for this was the reveal of Merida, talk about the Dark Swan, and much more. Following this in order was “Arrow,” “Supernatural,” “Teen Wolf,” and “The Vampire Diaries.” A pretty expected lineup as a whole.
Not only did these shows get attention, but four out of the five most-tweeted-about Comic-Con stars came from TV. Following Jennifer Lawrence at #1 we had three of the main “Supernatural” guys: Jared Padalecki (#2), Jensen Ackles (#3), and Misha Collins (#4). Dylan Sprayberry of “Teen Wolf” rounded things out in fifth place.
There was a lot of really great news when it comes to “Once Upon a Time” at Comic-Con over the past few days, so be sure to head over here if you want to check out some more of it!
