‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: Comic-Con teases includes Tigress, Jerome, and more

“Gotham” season 2 is heading to Fox on September 21, and tonight the show headed to the San Diego Convention Center to hand out what is some of the first news on the upcoming second season.

The biggest scoop at the Comic-Con panel came in the way of an epic season 2 teaser, which featured such new arrivals as Tigress and cannibal Robert Greenwood, and also more on the mysterious Jerome, largely suspected to be eventually The Joker. We know that he will have a much larger role in the second season. In general, there are going to be more villains in the second season than the first, which in turn may mean a larger role for some of the Heroes to show up and shine in their own right.

One person that cannot be forgotten in the midst of everything next season is Barbara Keen. Erin Richards will be back, but given that she killed her parents and is clearly all sorts of crazy, she’s not someone you want to encounter.

What’s also worth noting is that Oswald is ready to fight to keep his status in Gotham, at least according to Robin Lord Taylor. He is probably going to need to. The end of the panel featured a cameo from Cameron Monaghan as Jerome, which proved to be a rather fun moment.

As for Bruce and Alfred, prepare to see these two characters working more together now. That insecurity and divide between them, brought on mostly by the young “master,” will not have dissipated to a certain degree. Hooray!
