‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6, episode 5 preview: Hard times for Sasha Alexander’s Maura

Next week’s new episode of “Rizzoli & Isles” looks to be an interesting one, at least based on what we’re hearing about it at this very moment. After all, we are about see Maura Isles in a very compromising position, as some evidence could lead to her at least temporarily being suspended from work. Is this permanent? More than likely not, but it will be a story that shakes things up in a pretty significant way.

In case you have not heard too much about this episode yet, here is what we can tell you. The title here is “Misconduct Game,” and you can get some basic news in terms of what to expect below:

“A crime tech is murdered, shocking the team. It’s soon suspected the tech tampered with evidence, leading Maura to be suspended from her position.”

The promo below offers up a good bit more insight into the episode coming up, but the real notable part of it is at the end when Maura’s suspension becomes active. It certainly appears already like this is going to be one of the most action-packed and intense episodes that we have seen so far this season. They’ve struck a balance so far of humor and drama, and hopefully that is going to continue here.

As for what we saw tonight with Angela, it does not appear (at least on the surface) like that is going to be a major part of the story for the time being. Stay tuned for more.
