‘The Fosters’ season 3 spoilers: What ‘Faith, Hope, Love’ means to the story

Who knew that a birthday party would end up being as big of a deal as it seems to be on some upcoming episodes of “The Fosters“? The July 13 episode entitled “It’s My Party” is going to allow for a chance to see what happens when Callie gets a surprise birthday bash from Jude; let’s just say that not everything is going to go accordingly to plan, and this will carry over to a certain extent to “Faith, Hope, Love” airing on the 20th. This episode marks an opportunity to see what happens when Stef starts to question what happened with Callie at that party, and there is also a big story coming courtesy of Mariana.

“Stef and Lena hesitate to give their blessing when Mariana’s biological grandfather tells her she must be baptized in order to be her new half-sister Isabella’s godmother. Callie’s actions at her birthday party are called out by Stef, and they make a big decision in order to avoid jeopardizing her adoption.”

By the time we make it to the end of his installment, maybe we will have a better sense of what is coming for these characters … though to a certain extent much of that for Callie could be made clear by the time “It’s My Party” ends. This has been an interesting season for Maia Mitchell’s character so far, largely in that we feel like most of it has been about AJ, and we have not seen or heard too much about the adoption … at least not yet.
