‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: A song of sorrow, ratings, and Audrey in the spotlight

Audrey -There are times when it is supremely entertaining watching someone completely overplay their hand on “Big Brother.” Devin is a great example of that. He’s someone you really had no expectations for, so it was not really much of a surprise when he comes out and completely detonates his own bomb squad.

Then, there are people like Brian Hart or Audrey Middleton this season, as it is somewhat sad to see them completely lose control of their game. These are people who had potential at least at some various times in the game. They are both very smart, but neither could get it together when it comes to the social aspect of things.

For Audrey, one of her biggest mistakes has been telling people so much unnecessary information, such as her starting a trail of events that led to Jace learning about a nomination song about him for the Power of Veto Ceremony. While it was Austin who told him directly, the fact that she blabbed and some (including James) have traced it back to her is problematic. She is losing allies left and right, and could be an easy target for nomination next week since she is playing way too hard way too fast. Jason and Da’Vonne seem ready to get her out today, if that was at all possible.

Do we think that someone will actually be inspired to keep Jace, just so that he will go after her? It’s not likely. There are enough other physical threats out there, and plus do you really want to see someone like Jace around, who is so quick to explode and spill the beans? He’s not someone you can really work with.

Quick ratings note: Last night’s show drew a Sunday series low 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic. We’re not too worried about it, though. This is a great season so far, and what tends to happen with this show is that the numbers start low, and then rise as more and more crazy things happen.
