‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: What comes next for Kaitlyn Bristowe, Shawn Booth?

At the end of Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelorette,” we had what was a particularly dramatic situation play out. While Shawn Booth has shown that he very much cares for leading lady Kaitlyn Bristowe, he has also made it clear that he is not so much a fan of some of the other aspects of the show. He doesn’t like Nick Viall, doesn’t like the other dates, and also wants the validation of knowing that he matters.

In other words, he’s human. You can blast him for not understanding the competition and some of the problems that go along with it, but at the same time it is hard to really be that angry at him for actually displaying some emotion. Time and time again, we feel like there are many people who just pretend to be emotionally invested on the show, mostly for the simple reason of trying to secure themselves a spot on the next “Bachelor” or “Bachelor in Paradise.” We legitimately think that he is all-in.

As for some of what Shawn is going to be up to on Monday night’s new episode, the synopsis below makes it very clear that he is going to challenge her, and her response may end up shaking the rest of the season in a big way:

“Shawn is on a mission when he knocks on Kaitlyn’s hotel door. The emotional bachelor wants to know if Kaitlyn is really in love with him. The Bachelorette is still juggling eight other relationships, so what will she tell him?”
