‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Could Shawn Booth really leave Kaitlyn Bristowe over Nick, Jared?

“The Bachelorette” aired yet another promo after tonight’s episode, and drama is definitely the name of the game yet again. The show has been framed more around individual confrontations more so than Rose Ceremonies, and that happened again at the end of tonight’s episode with Shawn ranting.

At the end of the day, though, could he actually leave the competition? We’re not really sure that it will happen, but what we did get a sense of tonight is just how insecure in this competition Shawn may be. He feels slighted because he’s not getting alone time, and he continues to site a variety of different things that happened off-camera, including claims from Kaitlyn allegedly that he is “the one.” We don’t really know how much of that we buy for now. So much of this seems overblown for nothing, and the drama feels orchestrated.

The rest of the promo beyond just the Shawn / Kaitlyn stuff showed a variety of men crying, some major confrontations, and also of course Kaitlyn crying. Nothing was necessarily that spelled out, other than a reminder that Kaitlyn may be angering more of her men this season than any other Bachelorette ever. Then again, we blame casting for a lot of this, since they really seemed to cast some overly-cocky dudes this year.

We are getting close to the hometown dates, so if nothing else, we know that the show has a lot to do in the event that it wants to actually have some real romance at the end of this.
