NBC fall premiere dates: ‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 17, ‘Heroes: Reborn,’ ‘The Blacklist’ season 3 and more
NBC has finally entered the fray when it comes to releasing their premiere dates for the fall calendar, and for the most part, there are very few of these dates that come as a surprise … save for Tuesdays. Tuesdays are a little bit of a hot mess, since rather than straight-up swapping “Chicago Med” for “Heartbreaker” (which was delayed until midseason), the network has instead moved up the premiere of “Chicago Fire,” will air “Chicago Med” in its previous timeslot, and of course still has their Neil Patrick Harris variety show coming early.
So without further ado, let’s go ahead and get to sharing some of the premiere details right away. Remember that all times listed are Eastern, so adjust accordingly depending on where you live.
Tuesday, September 15
10:00 – Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris (new variety show)
Monday, September 21
8:00 – “The Voice”
10:00 – “Blindspot” (new drama)
Wednesday, September 23
8:00 – “The Mysteries of Laura”
9:00 – “Law & Order: SVU” (two-hour premiere)
Thursday, September 24
8:00 – “Heroes: Reborn” (new drama … sort of)
9:00 – “The Blacklist”
10:00 – “The Player” (new drama)
Wednesday, September 20
10:00 – “Chicago PD”
Friday, October 9
8:00 – “Undateable” (one-hour premiere)
Tuesday, October 13
10:00 – “Chicago Fire”
Friday, October 16
8:30 – “People Are Talking”
Friday, October 30
9:00 – “Grimm”
Tuesday, November 10
10:00 – “Chicago Med”
Can we express for a minute how grateful we are that “Grimm” is airing at 9:00 again rather than 8:00? It’s hard to have too many more immediate reactions that this, other than of course saying that for the most part, we like the schedule that NBC has … though we do wish there were more comedies. “Undateable” is great, and it should not be the only proven commodity that you have. Even still, you are putting it on Fridays and hoping for the best.
