‘Big Brother 17’ cast spoilers: Will Liz Nolan market herself well in the competition?

Liz Nolan is one of the contestants on “Big Brother 17” that you have to keep an eye on? We’d say so, given that there’s an outside chance that she could go really far. However, at the same time she could also be someone sent home very early for a variety of different reasons. As we’ve been doing every day now leading up to the premiere June 24, we’re going to do our best to map out Liz as a player below … using mostly just bio information and the CBS interview with Jeff Schroeder as evidence.

First Impression – Liz is a young marketing specialist who seems to be fairly intelligent, and knows the show well enough to pull out specific quotes from Luwon. Either she’s a longtime fan, or just has a good memory. Both could be assets, since she may be able to take some people by surprise. She’s someone who seems to be in the game to work hard, and we like the fact that she’s not just one of the token young people who seems mostly there to just party and then make a bunch of nightclub appearances after the show is over.

Worst Impression – We feel like there are still going to be some people in the house that could be intimidated by Liz, and while she does work with other people, we don’t get the complete sense that she will strike everyone as friendly right away. There may be a few people she doesn’t get along with, and while she’s not a physical threat, she could be one of those convenient boots because she is on the outside of an alliance.

Ultimately, we really feel the success of Liz this season could really be dependent on whether or not the right person is in power who is on her side. She’s got some skills, but she may not be able to deflect a target if it’s placed on her.
