‘Major Crimes’ season 4, episode 3 preview: What comes next for Raydor and Rusty?

Tonight’s new episode of “Major Crimes” was a significant one for the Rusty character, mainly because we got a chance to see some true progress when it comes to whether or not he could make some forward progress when it comes to Alice Herrera. As it turns out, he did courtesy of an interview with Slider!

So what is he going to use that information for? Well, he may not be able to do much given that he and Raydor are each going to be handed a subpoena in connection to the case. They have done whatever they can to get involved with this case, but sometimes there are some consequences to go along with this. Obviously you can see some of the teasers on this story in the synopsis below, but also the previously-announced guest-starring gig of Jamie Bamber in the more procedural part of the episode:

“Major Crimes investigates the murder of a super model with close ties to a pompous celebrity photographer (Jamie Bamber) with boundary issues. Meanwhile, Raydor and Rusty give Assistant Chief Taylor a headache when they are both served subpoenas for their entanglement in the Alice murder case.”

The only thing that we hope to see in the Alice story is that it is something that continues for a few more weeks. We really like a long-term narrative, especially when it is a character as strong and unique to the crime procedural genre as Rusty. Stay tuned for more updates!
