‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6 video: Maura’s Disneyland and so much more
Per TNT, the title of the premiere is “The Platform,” and it was written by showrunner Jan Nash. As for the story, let’s just say that there is a certain element of the “wrongfully accused” trope in here, and it also sounds fairly action-packed to go along with it:
“When it appears one of Boston P.D.’s own has shot an unarmed man on a busy Boston subway platform, the team must fight to find the real killer while clearing the detective’s name. But with Internal Affairs breathing down their necks, it becomes clear that the circumstances surrounding this shooting are anything but clear.”
So while this is a show that does like to utilize humor often, it becomes at least fairly clear to us after reading this that the show is also at the same time going to devote a great deal of time to action and mystery, as well. These are just elements that often do not play as well in promos, but are part of the mixture that makes the show so great.
