‘The Bachelor’ alum Chris Soules finds another new show in ‘Worst Cooks in America’

How many reality shows is Chris Soules planning to do within the span of a little more than a year? Let’s paint a quick timeline. The Iowa farmer (who really may not have that much time for farming after all of this) first appeared on Andi Dorfman’s season of “The Bachelorette” (filmed last spring) where he made it very far and eventually was named the star of “The Bachelor.” He got engaged to Whitney Bischoff at the end of that, and then went on to film his own version of “The Bachelor,” which filmed in the fall and aired earlier this year. Then, there was “Dancing with the Stars” starting in March, and he was in the headlines not long after that over him and Whitney splitting.

Now, we understood why Chris would do the dancing show. It is a great chunk of change, a chance to promote your brand, and also he may have felt a certain amount of loyalty to the network that made him into a reality star. However, a celebrity edition of “Worst Cooks in America” definitely surprises us.

Per Entertainment Weekly, Soules will be joining the Food Network series that has a cast that also includes Dean Cain, Ellen Cleghorne, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Jaleel White, Barry Williams, and current “Marriage Boot Camp” star Kendra Wilkinson, who may be trying to appear on just about every reality show possible at this point.

Given that Chris is a farm guy, we’re somewhat stunned that he doesn’t know how to cook … especially since there aren’t too many hobbies to pick up in Arlington. What we don’t really understand here is that if he wants to have the persona of a farmer, why keep appearing on reality shows? If he wants to just be a reality star, there’s nothing wrong with saying that, either.
