NBC’s ‘The Voice’ spoilers: Christina Aguilera confirmed for season 10

Christina -Were you at all worried that Christina Aguilera was leaving “The Voice” after being off the list of coaches for the fall? Don’t be. While it was more or less assumed by us that she would return in the spring (she has a tendency to take a season off between appearances), a source tells Gossip Cop that Christina is confirmed to be coming back for the show’s upcoming tenth season.

To us, this is of course great news given that we consider her to be the most entertaining of all the female coaches. At the same time, we also know that she is the coach who has appeared the most times now without a winning artist. She has to be hungry for one at this point! We actually thought that she was in reasonably good shape with some awesome singers going into the live rounds, but Kimberly Nichole was eliminated far too early for our liking.

For one reason or another, there has yet to be a female coach to win the series, despite there being a woman on every season to date. Is there a reason for that? It’s really hard to determine, since this is all a popularity contest at the end of the day, and it is really up to viewers to do whatever they want with some of their votes. The closest Christina was to winning was with Chris Mann many seasons ago.

Gwen Stefani, in case you missed the report earlier, is set up to officially be the coach for the show this fall. We’ll of course have some more news on that and so much more as it comes up.
