‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9 will return to Comic-Con with writers’ panel

Big Bang Theory -Would it be Comic-Con at this point without “The Big Bang Theory” present there? We hardly think so. This show goes hand-in-hand with the convention, and while we know that there are some who would like to see the full cast there, we really dig the new tradition of the past few years of bringing the writers and focusing more on them. They are the unsung heroes of the show for one, and they are the ones who are really more of the beacons of nerd culture. Plus, for those of you who love guest cameos from a cast member or two, that usually tends to happen, as well. (We do love Johnny Galecki very much for the one time he dressed up in costume.)

The panel this year is going to be held on Friday, July 10 of course in San Diego, and if you are on the fence about attending it, there are really two things that you should consider:

1. If you really like the show, why wouldn’t you want to be there?

2. It’s a great source for some behind-the-scenes insight, and to figure out what went into the creation of some of the show’s classic gags and storylines.

The ninth season of the sitcom will be premiering on CBS come Monday, September 21; like with last fall, the first few weeks of the season are going to air at a special time due to Thursday Night Football. This may be annoying to some, but the show doesn’t really have a whole lot of control over it, alas.
