‘Ink Master’ season 6, episode 1 podcast: Jessa, Bart talk Masters vs Masters, Brian Stephens elimination

It’s that time again! Jessa Carter (co-owner of CarterMatt) and Bart (our resident art and tattoo expert) are back again to talk all things “Ink Master” and with this season giving us the “Masters vs Apprentices” twist there’s a lot to talk about, including the return of one of our favorite contestants, that we feel went home way too early in season 3, Craig Foster!

There is a lot to talk about in our first podcast this season and it all begins with the “Masters vs Masters” special that aired right before the premiere. We saw four of the winners come back: Joey Hamilton, Steve Tefft, Scott Marshall and Jason Clay Dunn as they competed for a $10,000 prize. Where was Shane O’Neill? We will dive into the whereabouts of Shane, why “Ink Master” is missing a prime opportunity by not bringing the winners back as guest judges and our thoughts on Scott Marshall winning out over all of the Masters.

Jessa and Bart will also be chatting about the season 6 premiere, how happy we are to see Craig Foster back in the mix and whether or not we like the Masters vs Apprentices set up. There is also some discussion about Brian Stephens and whether or not he was the right person to be eliminated and who we think are the artists to watch out for this season as serious contenders to win it all.
