‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: Luke Mitchell promoted to series regular
For all of those who enjoyed getting to know Lincoln on Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” great news coming your way now: You are going to get a chance to see a whole lot more of him moving forward.
Multiple sources have confirmed that the Australian actor and “The Tomorrow People” alum has been officially confirmed as a series regular for the upcoming third season, which is important in a variety of different ways. For example, giving us Lincoln not only gives us another guy who can handle action sequences effortlessly, but it also allows Skye to have at least one other person around who can understand her plight to a certain degree.
With this addition, we can also say that the cast for the ABC series is really larger than ever. After all, we now not only have the likes of Mitchell aboard the show, but also Nick Blood and Adrianne Palicki most likely staying put after a potential spin-off involving their characters did not go forward at the network. They all join Chloe Bennet, Clark Gregg, Elizabeth Henstridge, and many more as a part of the series’ core cast.
The third season of the series does not have an official premiere date just yet, but we would say that more than likely, it will officially premiere at around the 22nd of September or the following week. When filming begins a little later this summer, you better believe that we will have a cavalcade of additional updates.
