‘Big Brother Canada 3’ live feed spoilers: Nominations (not that they really matter)

This is an unusual week in “Big Brother Canada 3,” mostly because the final four stage of the season is always a little strange. The final Veto is the only thing that really matters when it comes to the vote, and nominations are strictly arbitrary.

Therefore, it means nothing that Sarah did exactly what we thought she would as Head of Household, and chose to nominate both Ashleigh and Godfrey. Everyone has motivation to win the Power of Veto; even Godfrey now doesn’t have to worry about being a sudden target, since he knows that Brittnee and Sarah will likely take each other to the end. This is a chance to separate the two of them, and also get rid of a challenge threat in Britt who could evict him with a win at the final HoH. (We at least think he would evict Britt, even if Ashleigh has some friends over on the jury.)

Here are a few other news and notes from the day:

1. Gary and Ika did show up in the house yesterday to help the houseguests get dressed for the awards, and while there were some snarky comments, we don’t really think there was anything that notable. Remember that the houseguests also saw Emmett in the Diary Room earlier this season, and Jon Pardy infamously made an appearance back in the house.

2. Peter Brown was relatively kind to Zach on the “Side Show” last night, at least considering what they hype would be about Zach calling him names on the internet years ago … which were brought to light by Peter earlier in the season. He forgave him, saying that Zach now knows what it’s like being in the house and told him that he’d be there for him if he had any trouble dealing with hate that comes out about him.
